• Business names — the businesses you enter for comparison
• Email address — when you verify your scorecard or sign up for Pro membership
• Name — collected at checkout for billing purposes
• Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store credit card numbers
• IP address — collected to prevent abuse and for analytics
• Google Business Profile data — publicly available business information used to generate your scorecard

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate your business comparison scorecard and revenue gap estimates
• Process and manage your Pro membership
• Send transactional emails about your account (scorecard results, membership updates, monthly rescan notifications)
• Improve our scoring algorithms and product
• Prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sources

Our scoring engine analyzes publicly available data from Google Places, Google PageSpeed Insights, business directories, and social media platforms. We do not scrape private or protected data. All business data used in scoring is publicly accessible.

4. Accuracy of Scores

Business data used in scoring is collected from publicly available sources. Scores and revenue estimates are approximations based on this public data and should not be relied upon as guarantees of business performance or revenue outcomes.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to process payments, send emails, store data, and analyze website performance. These services have their own privacy policies and handle data in accordance with applicable law. We do not sell your data to any third party.

6. Data Retention

Scan data is retained for 12 months from the date of the scan. If you cancel your Pro membership, your personal data is retained for 30 days after cancellation before being anonymized. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us through our contact page.

7. Cookie Policy

We use session cookies to maintain your login state and prevent abuse. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. Analytics are collected through a privacy-preserving analytics provider that does not use cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

LocalAces is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us through our contact page and we will delete it promptly.
